Produce – a market sunday.

The parisian summer is coming to an end, the canal’s sides are slowly emptying out, the heat has morphed to warmth.

One of my greatest pleasures in these last days of august is to take a ride to the Marché d’Aligre and then stroll the alleys. If you get there after noon most of the vendors will have plates, bags or baskets full of various fruits and vegetables for one or two euros.

Amongst some of those finds were beautiful juicy peaches, cute little baby potatoes and dark coloured tomatoes. I played around with them, some black linen and a ray of sunshine that was teasing me through my window.

Here are the results.
